Welcome to Reliant Rides, LLC (“Reliant Rides,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReliantRides.com website (“Site”) and the transportation services that we provide (“Services”). By accessing our Site or requesting transportation through Reliant Rides, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or request our Services.

Description of Services

Reliant Rides provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), including wheelchair-accessible transport and door-to-door assistance to medical appointments, hospital discharges, rehabilitation facilities, adult day centers, and other approved destinations.
Reliant Rides does not provide emergency medical transportation and should not be used during medical emergencies.
Transportation services must be requested through our team and manually approved. We do not offer automated online scheduling.

User Responsibilities

By requesting service, you confirm that:
You are legally able to schedule transportation for yourself or the passenger.
All information provided—contact details, pickup/drop-off locations, mobility assistance needs—is accurate and up to date.
The passenger is stable for non-emergency transport and does not require medical care during transportation.
Passengers must follow driver instructions related to safety, including proper positioning in wheelchairs and seatbelt usage.

Scheduling, Changes, and Cancellations

All transportation requests are subject to availability and approval.
You agree that:

  • Appointment times should allow for reasonable arrival windows.
  • You will notify us of cancellations or schedule changes as soon as possible.
  • Additional charges may apply for no-shows, excessive wait times, or last-minute changes, though specific rates are not listed here.

Payments

Reliant Rides accepts:

  • Private pay
  • Facility contracts
  • Insurance or benefit-based transportation arrangements (when applicable)

By requesting service, you agree to pay all applicable charges associated with the ride and consent to any authorized billing arrangements.

Service Limitations

Reliant Rides is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, road closures, mechanical issues, or other situations outside our control.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if a safety concern exists, including but not limited to:

  • Aggressive or inappropriate behavior
  • Unsafe wheelchair or mobility equipment
  • Unstable or threatening conditions at a pickup or drop-off location

Conduct and Safety Requirements

For the safety of passengers and staff, the following are prohibited in our vehicles:

  • Smoking or vaping
  • Illegal substances
  • Violence, harassment, or disruptive behavior
  • Unsafe equipment or improperly maintained wheelchairs

Drivers are trained to provide assistance but may not lift passengers or perform actions outside safe-handling guidelines.

Third-Party Platforms

We may use Bambi, Hubspot, and other third-party software tools to assist with scheduling, customer communication, or operational processes. Your use of our Site or Services may also be subject to the terms of these third parties, which are not controlled by Reliant Rides.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Reliant Rides is not liable for:

  • Medical outcomes or conditions before, during, or after transport
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Delays or service interruptions outside our control
  • Actions of third-party partners or technology providers

Our Services are provided “as available” without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Reliant Rides harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or Services or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of our Services shall be handled in courts located in Texas.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
